I have been so excited to share this beautiful sunset St. Louis family photo session.  I am so lucky to have the job that I do.  Of course Im super busy all the time but the families I get to meet and ultimately get to become friends with make everything all worth it.  There is something extra special about the connection of families during photo shoots.  Moments between moms, dads and their kids.  After all my shoots, I get asked quite a bit, “do you think we got anything?” I always have to laugh.

I am not your normal pose your family type of photographer.  Families are not perfect. We don’t all sit still, smile for the camera and say “cheese”!. That word is actually outlawed at my shoots :).  I just had a photo session of my own family down in Florida. I can now appreciate the ability of a photographer to capture moments when kids don’t want to play along. Holy moly. Being on the other side was ROUGH!  🙂

Ok back to this family photo shoot :).  I love them. We had a ball.  All I have to say to them is, good luck deciding what to print. Im pretty sure I will be making my OWN wall of your shoot somewhere in my house haha! Ok maybe my studio. 🙂

For real love this family. We realized we have so many random connections it was tons of fun. Amazing, amazing family. Big hearts. Love love love them! Best. Job. Ever.
