Little Ampleman | St. Louis newborn photographer

This little guy had my heart the day of his session.  Dad brought in a mini football as he was a football player. I had never used one before and I thought it actually was super cute! 🙂 For most of his session he was wide eyed and ready to party. He also preferred being snuggle by his parents. I mean who can blame him! They wanted to snuggle him too of course. He was SO cute I could have smooched him all day.

This top photo of dad and his new little guy is one of my favorites of all time. Backlighting is my favorite way to shoot. I will be teaching more about how to do this when Kristen from Son Kissed Photography and I pair up for our newborn workshop in May. To learn more about that, just read here.

If you are a client looking to book a session, it’s best to book as early as you can so we can get you on the books and start planning. Most people book in their 1st or second trimester, but please feel free to ask last minute as there are certain weeks that are slower than others when I can fit in a few extra. Love this little guy.

GAH. How is Eva old enough to graduate. She will be graduating this Spring of 2026 from Saint Joseph’s Academy (Saint Joe). This hurts my brain. I have known and photographed her since she was little as I’ve known her mom a long time! I love this season I am in with who I’m photographing. […]

Eva – Class of 2026 – Saint Joe

I discovered a hidden spot during my son’s soccer practice that would ONLY work for about 15-20 minutes AT sunset, and ONLY if there was sun. I mean…. I GUESS we could do NO sun too…. but the sunset was epic here. Actually, this was late in the season and we had to move spots, […]

15 Minute Sunset Minis

This baby needs no introduction. Clearly his hair speaks for itself. 🙂 I LOVE simple newborn sessions. Each one will go totally differently depending on how sleepy they are, when they arrived, etc etc.  When photographing newborns we will do so about day 10 through about day 21 (ish).  We have many come early and […]

SO MUCH HAIR! :) Simple Newborn Shoot

I have been photographing Hadley and her family since they were all babies! Seeing all of my clients grow up is such a gift! She chose to do a session in a field as well as a session in the studio. I will share some highlights from both sessions below. Lots of girls like to […]
