time to settle in

It’s March! Almost time for some sunset photo sessions! Hooray!

The sun is out, it’s THINKING about being warm out, which means ONE thing. Sunset shoot time! Hooray! I don’t know about everyone else, but this girl is SO ready to get shooting outside again!  You know it’s funny.  When the end of year approaches, as a photographer, you embrace the cold. The cold means a mini break after a crazy busy season. However, you quickly realize how EXCITED you are for busy season once again… aka….sunset shoots!

So as I am looking out the window at the studio right now, Im ready. Ready for busy season. 🙂  Spring is full and summer is almost full. We will be opening our fall spots on April 1st!

🙂

How darling is this family! I just adore them. Little Henry was SUCH a blessing for his parents.  Brought into their life by adoption, they just totally adore him as he adores them. You can tell just how much by the love in these photos 🙂

When most people think about a […]

Senior Photos in St. Louis | Class of 2026 & 2027 Spring + Summer Sessions

GAH. How is Eva old enough to graduate. She will be graduating this Spring of 2026 from Saint Joseph’s Academy (Saint Joe). This hurts my brain. I have known and photographed her since she was little as I’ve known her mom a long time! I love this season I am in with who I’m photographing. […]

family in color and black at white at sunset

I discovered a hidden spot during my son’s soccer practice that would ONLY work for about 15-20 minutes AT sunset, and ONLY if there was sun. I mean…. I GUESS we could do NO sun too…. but the sunset was epic here. Actually, this was late in the season and we had to move spots, […]
