Lifestyle photo session | St. Louis family photographer

Oh I just LOVE this time of the year! Brrr I know, but it’s when my in-home lifestyle photo sessions increase and we get to have so much fun in children’s natural environments.  I was SO busy at the end of 2015 that I have not blogged, in, well, forever! So I figured it was a good time to start with a lifestyle session I did a bit back.

I just adore this family to pieces. I have been photographing them for as long as I can remember. If you scroll through all of my old portfolio stuff, if it’s even still up, you will see their faces all over the place 🙂   This was the FIRST in-home session I got to do for them as our photography sessions typically consisted of the family sunset type.  We had such a great time! You don’t need much for these types of sessions, besides the ability to have  some fun 🙂

Here are a few highlights from their session. We had WAY too many amazing shots to post them all without crashing my server haha!

As a St. Louis newborn photographer, my focus is always on capturing real connection in a clean, natural studio setting. With parents. With siblings. With the whole family adjusting to someone new. When most people think about a […]

St. Louis Newborn Photographer | Natural, Connection-Focused Studio Sessions

Senior year always feels far away… until it suddenly isn’t. Being a St. Louis senior photographer is one of my favorite! If you’re starting to think about senior photos for the Class of 2026 or Class of 2027, spring and summer are some of the easiest seasons to book. I photograph seniors throughout the St. […]

Senior Photos in St. Louis | Class of 2026 & 2027 Spring + Summer Sessions

GAH. How is Eva old enough to graduate. She will be graduating this Spring of 2026 from Saint Joseph’s Academy (Saint Joe). This hurts my brain. I have known and photographed her since she was little as I’ve known her mom a long time! I love this season I am in with who I’m photographing. […]

family in color and black at white at sunset

I discovered a hidden spot during my son’s soccer practice that would ONLY work for about 15-20 minutes AT sunset, and ONLY if there was sun. I mean…. I GUESS we could do NO sun too…. but the sunset was epic here. Actually, this was late in the season and we had to move spots, […]
