Raven | St. Louis newborn photography

Jun

15

Guess who just had her baby! We get to do her newborn photography session next week in the studio, then a week after she is also doing a lifestyle newborn session in her home. I get to hug her a lot 🙂 And oh my stars this was SUCH an amazing shoot. Not only is Raven beautiful, she is the sweetest person on the planet. Um, gold sparkle dress pregnant? Love her. Her daughter. Really? Talk about a mini mama. She just had another little girl. Having two boys myself, I won’t lie, I am a bit excited to get to photography some sparkle 🙂

I am totally obsessed with my job so I had extra fun getting to photograph something sparkly in the sun. Speaking of sparkly. Wait until you see my new studio. I will be opening a new photography studio in Chesterfield in just a few weeks.  I have a designer helping to make it amazing. There will be a client lounge with a TV for my newborn moms to relax, a coffee bar, a play area for the siblings, an AMAZING shooting space, a fabulous office and of course what will be an amazing closet. I spent most of the day today getting the rest of my papers signed, my insurance stuff all finalized, my building permits pulled AND spent the day at Rescued Furnishings with Nicole, customizing a few pieces of furniture to put in the newborn photography studio. Actually, it will really be a family photography studio. I have enough space to do some amazing things. Stay tuned. Make sure you are on my newsletter to learn about my open house this Sept, as well as to learn about some special mini sessions I will be opening up for all of St. Louis. My year is about full, but with the new space I can’t help but open day time minis. I can’t wait to share it all with you! Remember, hop on my newsletter to learn about when I open the studio! I book way out and I open my spots FIRST to everyone on there 🙂

Enjoy the highlights from this session! It’s one of my new favorites!

As much as I love photographing newborns — and I really do — it’s the connection that gets me. As a St. Louis newborn photographer, my focus is always on capturing real connection in a clean, natural studio setting. With parents. With siblings. With the whole family adjusting to someone new. When most people think about a […]

St. Louis Newborn Photographer | Natural, Connection-Focused Studio Sessions

Senior year always feels far away… until it suddenly isn’t. Being a St. Louis senior photographer is one of my favorite! If you’re starting to think about senior photos for the Class of 2026 or Class of 2027, spring and summer are some of the easiest seasons to book. I photograph seniors throughout the St. […]

Senior Photos in St. Louis | Class of 2026 & 2027 Spring + Summer Sessions

GAH. How is Eva old enough to graduate. She will be graduating this Spring of 2026 from Saint Joseph’s Academy (Saint Joe). This hurts my brain. I have known and photographed her since she was little as I’ve known her mom a long time! I love this season I am in with who I’m photographing. […]

family in color and black at white at sunset

I discovered a hidden spot during my son’s soccer practice that would ONLY work for about 15-20 minutes AT sunset, and ONLY if there was sun. I mean…. I GUESS we could do NO sun too…. but the sunset was epic here. Actually, this was late in the season and we had to move spots, […]
