Best bets for fall family photos in St. Louis

So the big question each photographer gets during the time of booking is, WHERE do you think we should do? There are of course your standard parks, the Zoo, places everyone know about. But where do all the photographers around St. Louis really like to take their clients during the fall? St Louis Sprout magazine has interviewed a handful of photographers around the St. Louis area. All the way from the city out to Wildwood, MO.  Some photographers like to have texture, such as brick, bridges, old buildings, etc. Some like to have large open fields to be drenched with sun (like myself 🙂 ). Finding a good location can be critical for your photos.  Having enough shade, have a safe spot to take young children or having the right style for your clients is so important.  Take a peek as to where some photographers, including yours truly, like to take their clients 🙂

family in color and black at white at sunset

I discovered a hidden spot during my son’s soccer practice that would ONLY work for about 15-20 minutes AT sunset, and ONLY if there was sun. I mean…. I GUESS we could do NO sun too…. but the sunset was epic here. Actually, this was late in the season and we had to move spots, […]
