Family Lifestyle workshop – St. Louis

Apr

21

I have to say, I am SO lucky to be able to teach lifestyle workshops around the county. It’s so humbling to have other photographers trust me! It’s also so fun to get to meet other photographers around the country, see and explore new cities, and make fun adventures for my family, when they can join me.  For this workshop we stayed put right here in St. Louis. We had photographers come in from Canada, Los Angeles, Chicago and Indy.  It was so nice to be able to stay right here at home and show them around MY town a bit.  Here are a few photos we took of one of our workshop families. This family we photographed on day 2.  Day 2 of my lifestyle workshop is the “difficult light” day. The day we need to teach harder lighting situations. We had a great time and got some amazing shots.  If you are interested in mentoring in a small group lifestyle workshop, click HERE to learn more and see what cities I will be in next!

When most people think about a […]

GAH. How is Eva old enough to graduate. She will be graduating this Spring of 2026 from Saint Joseph’s Academy (Saint Joe). This hurts my brain. I have known and photographed her since she was little as I’ve known her mom a long time! I love this season I am in with who I’m photographing. […]

family in color and black at white at sunset

I discovered a hidden spot during my son’s soccer practice that would ONLY work for about 15-20 minutes AT sunset, and ONLY if there was sun. I mean…. I GUESS we could do NO sun too…. but the sunset was epic here. Actually, this was late in the season and we had to move spots, […]
